Contract Quality Inspector Manufacturing (Inside IR35, 6-Month Contract)Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for your next contract role? A leading manufacturing business is seeking a skilled professional to join their team on a 6-month contract, working inside IR35.Key Responsibilities: Goods receiving inspection of mechanical components using standard inspection equipment. Gauge calibration administration with external test houses and in-house pressure gauge calibration. Special inspection services for specific customer requirements. Paperwork generation to route components within the company. Liaising with Purchasing and Suppliers to resolve component issues. Problem-solving and technical support for the shop floor. Providing QA function back-up during absences.Candidate Requirements: 3 years of experience in goods-in/mechanical inspection. Strong familiarity with CMM inspection. Good secondary school education, ideally to A-Level standard. Preferably a completed mechanical engineering apprenticeship. Knowledge of mechanical components and machining processes. Proficient in using manual inspection equipment. Strong computer literacy, including Word and Excel for QA IT systems.
