Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes, physically confirming product codes, quantities and condition before booking stock in. Record and promptly report shortages, excess quantities, incorrect items and damage to Procurement and the Assistant Warehouse Manager, following discrepancies through to resolution. Book goods received accurately and promptly into Sage against the correct purchase order, recording actual quantities received and avoiding duplicate entries. Work with the warehouse team to ensure goods are put away in the correct storage locations and update Sage where stock is placed outside its default location.
