You''ll need to be comfortable joining an existing codebase, getting up to speed quickly and working independently within a remote team.Key responsibilities* Develop and maintain Back End services, APIs and microservices using Go.* Build and enhance Front End functionality using React and TypeScript.* Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate testing and documentation.* Investigate issues and improve application performance, reliability and scalability.* Communicate progress, technical decisions and blockers clearly through asynchronous updates.* Work with Rust where required, with a willingness to learn if your experience is limited.Essential experience* Strong commercial experience developing Back End applications in Go.* Experience building scalable APIs and microservices.* Hands-on React and TypeScript experience.* Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar codebases and deliver effectively as a contractor.* Clear written communication and strong technical documentation habits.* Comfortable working independently and collaborating within a fully remote team. ..... full job details .....
