GMP Cleaner

Salary: -13.45 per hour, rising to -13.95 per hour after successful completion of a six-month probation period

Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire (Amber Therapeutic site)

Working pattern: Part time, Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 7:00am (10 hours per week)

The role

Micronclean has three new part-time GMP Cleaner vacancies at our Amber Therapeutic site in Didcot. You''ll join a friendly team cleaning Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) sterile environments alongside office and admin areas, working to strict procedures that keep every area ready for audit. Full training is provided.

What you''ll be doing

• Cleaning ceilings, walls, floors, surfaces and vents in GMP cleanroom areas to a high audit standard
• Cleaning administration areas, including offices and toilets
• Following work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in every area you clean
• Completing area logbooks accurately and producing GDP-compliant reports and documentation
• Checking cleaning equipment and machines regularly, and reporting any faults to the GMP Cleaning Area Manager
• Reporting hazards to the GMP Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leaders and following the company Health and Safety Policy
• Working closely each day with the cleaning team, other staff and customers
• Attending training relevant to the role and supporting the GMP Cleaning Leadership Team with other duties as required
• Following all Quality, Compliance, Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures

What you''ll bring

Essential:

• Previous cleaning experience
• A good level of written and spoken English
• General good health and a reasonable level of fitness, as you''ll be on your feet throughout the shift
• Willingness to wear full uniform and PPE at all times, and to follow strict GMP dress codes
• Ability to work to tight timescales in isolated areas
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Flexibility to cover other shift patterns when needed

• Experience in a similar industry
• Knowledge of COSHH
• An understanding of GMP and quality systems
• Good communication skills and a flexible, team-focused approach
• Experience using cleaning machinery
