Gluing Operator

Total Spectrum are currently recruiting on behalf of our Manufacturing client who is looking for a Gluing Operator to join their existing team, based in the Bradford area. 

This is a straight permanent position with the client, for the right person. The successful candidate MUST have experience in all areas of set up & running of a folder/ gluing machine, specifically crash lock experience.

Responsibilities:

• Working within a team

• Ensuring jobs are ready for gluing

• Running and monitoring of jobs ensuring quality is maintained

• Completing appropriate paperwork to verify operator, quantities and QC.

• Daily machine maintenance and health and safety checks

• Completing other daily duties and requests from a management

Candidate

• 3 years or more experience of gluing in previous roles

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Motivated with a poitive, helpful attitude

• Reliable and trustworthy

• Team player

• Awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety

Hours & salary:

• £35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus overtime paid at an enhanced rate

• Shift work, rotating weekly: Mornings - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00  Afternoons - Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 22:30 Friday 14:00 - 22:00
