The Role:Responsible for designing and delivering global retail visual merchandising guidelines, collaborating with Creative and Commercial teams to translate the brand vision into stores. This role involves hybrid working with at least 3 days in our Kensington Office and up to 2 days remote, along with regular store travel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising:

Create guidelines for Full Price, Off Price, and Wholesale to enhance retail store excitement and support brand positioning.

Collaborate with Product Directors, creative teams, and retail leaders to define visual standards ensuring consistency across the global store network.

Develop a visual merchandising calendar aligned with window changes, merchandise drops, and marketing events.

Design visual stories and theatre installations in line with seasonal and commercial needs.

Partner with merchandising and retail teams to review product selections and design in-store POS.

Create seasonal VM guidelines and training manuals for all retail channels.

Communicate guidelines to regional VM teams and ensure knowledge sharing.

Establish a monthly reporting system for global store visibility.

Manage the annual budget and participate in planning.

Maintain relationships with Franchise and Wholesale partners for seasonal visual updates.

Provide training and ongoing feedback to VM teams globally.

Conduct monthly store rotations and manage showroom setups for seasonal handovers.

Develop floorplans and renders for new store openings, collaborating with Store Design.

Events:

Coordinate with marketing teams for regional events and create displays.

Manage event budgets and supplier orders.

Support seasonal store changes, sourcing props and merchandising accordingly.

Create visual plans for pop-up stores.

Training:

Guide store teams on seasonal VM standards and techniques.

Identify training needs and facilitate sessions to uphold visual standards.

Culture and Sustainability:

Demonstrate Mulberry values: honesty, dynamism, community.

Promote an inclusive, respectful environment.

Support sustainability initiatives aligned with B Corp standards and Mulberry’s ''Five C’s'' strategy.

Foster diversity and inclusion within internal and external communities.

Skills and Experience Required:

Substantial visual merchandising experience within fashion brands.

Experience managing budgets and guidelines globally.

Creative, innovative, and sustainability-minded thinking.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines.

Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
