Global Retail Project Lead

OverviewDr. Martens is seeking a
Global Retail Project Lead
to drive the planning, briefing, governance, and creative alignment of key retail initiatives that elevate our brand across physical spaces. Working across Retail Experience and Creative Studio, you’ll ensure new store openings and global retail enhancements are executed with consistency, creativity, and precision.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end project management of global retail projects, including new store concepts, new retail initiatives, and GWP programmes.
Build and maintain robust project governance structures—from timelines to milestone tracking—ensuring smooth cross-functional delivery.
Use the project management tool Asana to manage workflows, dependencies, stakeholders, and programme documentation.
Creative Alignment and Store Design Governance
Govern the application of global store design principles across regional executions—reviewing layouts, guiding design intent, and ensuring alignment.
Act as brand custodian across all physical environments, upholding creative excellence while adapting to local nuances.
Own creative approval processes and feedback loops with key stakeholders.
Fixture Development and Toolkit Delivery
Lead fixture prototyping processes—briefing, testing, refining, and approving for rollout across various formats.
Manage the distribution of finalised drawings and toolkit materials to regional teams for production and deployment.
Partner with Procurement to value engineer fixtures and tools—delivering premium outcomes within cost and scale targets.
Collaboration and Brand Expression
Be the central connector between Retail Experience, Creative Studio and regional teams—ensuring clarity, cohesion, and momentum.
Brief internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver impactful environments across showrooms and office spaces.
Partner with Facilities to ensure branded environments reflect our identity with precision.

Strong understanding of the physical retail landscape, from concept to execution.
Confident working across cross-functional and international teams.
A sharp eye for design and detail, with the ability to balance creative ambition and operational feasibility.
