Global Managing Partner
(MP) Global Account Chief Expert is the worldwide General Manager and Executive Sponsor accountable for leading the end-to-end strategic customer engagement of a Platinum account, the top tier in the Strategic Customer segment.The Managing Partner leads the overall strategic and sustainable engagement with the customer and ecosystem, pro-actively driving initiatives that increase the customer''s commitment to and investment in joint business innovation, accelerating innovation adoption and business impact, resulting in growth in share of wallet, total revenues across SW, Services and Cloud to expected levels, and reference-ability.They develop the business and digital transformation strategy and lead the global account team, embracing and modeling best practices of Strategic Customer Engagement (SCE) including orchestrating a multi-year jointly committed roadmap enabled by the four-panel model, annual account plan, with a joint governance created and executed by the Managing Partner and the customer’s named SAP Executive Sponsor. They drive the total PandL, delivering consistent, predictable and sustainable revenues while building trusted relationships with CxO Line of Business, Geographical and IT Senior Executives at the customer and ensuring short-term success. They coordinate and align strategy, planning and execution with all SAP board areas and LoBs, and establish governance with the customer’s executives. S/he consults and agrees on overall global (cross LOB), yearly Revenue and Profitability targets with MU head and Regional President.What You’ll BuildRun the Account as a business as GM and Executive SponsorLeverage SAP Board Sponsor, other Executive Board members and senior leaders to ensure long-term business impact and growthBuild and develop a top performing matrixed Global Account team with host LoB alignment on targets, assignments, and development plansProvide thought leadership and vision around SAP''s Global/Strategic Account strategy, linking plans and execution to Board strategies and goals and customer objectivesReview long-term technology and business strategy planning with account team across board areas and strategic partnersIdentify areas for co-innovation and coordinate with cross-board area management on co-innovation projectsAct as point of contact for board-level escalations at the customer Executive level when neededCollaborate with DBS, PandI, BNandA and within GCODevelop long-term C-level relationships, governance, and top-to-top partnershipsProvide thought leadership to SAP across industries and innovation areasMentor GADs and model SAP''s leadership behaviorsMake decisions with fiduciary consideration and responsibilityWhat You Bring20+ years of business experience in Sales or Consulting with complex business software / IT solutions10+ years of deep industry/domain expertise and 10+ years of Large Account Management experience leading account teamsStrong knowledge of the complete SAP offering (including Service and Support)Knowledge of financial, competitive, regulatory environmentExperience with long-term planning of resources, technology and account structureSeveral years as (Associate) Partner at a System Integrator or equivalentSeveral years of Business Consulting Management or Value Engineering or equivalentSeveral years of large Account ManagementProven C-suite influence and engagementExceptional communication and presentation skillsBusiness level English: FluentEducationBachelor equivalentOther notesSAP’s culture of inclusion, health and well-being, and flexible working models help ensure that everyone feels included and can run at their best.
