      <description>Location: Liverpool | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | I''m working exclusively with a major global organisation to recruit a Global IT Category Manager specialising in IT Procurement.  This is a newly created position with a genuinely global remit. Based out of the Liverpool office, you will act as the senior IT procurement contact for European stakeholders while reporting into the Global Director of IT Procurement in the US.     The organisation is bringing together its global technology suppliers, contracts and procurement processes. You will play a key role in shaping that journey-supporting European stakeholders, leading complex sourcing projects and identifying opportunities to consolidate regional and global supplier agreements.  As Global IT Category Manager you will influence approximately -50m of technology spend, with an initial focus on IT infrastructure, technology services and cybersecurity.  Key responsibilities:   Lead complex global and European IT sourcing initiatives.
