Location: Remote (with monthly visits to all UK facilities)Special Focus: Surrey site (will be 2-3 days a week for the first 6 months)Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Global Health and Safety Manager to oversee our client’s UK sites and strategy. The successful applicant will have specialized knowledge in radiation safety, radioactive materials handling or nuclear safety. This role is primarily remote, with monthly visits to each facility and a special focus on the Surrey site for the first six months. You will have the flexibility to manage your own time while maintaining visibility across all sites.Key Responsibilities:Standardisation: Develop and implement new templates, processes, and systems to ensure a consistent way of working across all sites.Documentation: Globalise documentation to streamline operations and ensure compliance.Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments and manage radiation protection.Interpersonal Communication: Engage with site managers and Safety Officers to foster a cohesive safety culture across the UK business.Project Work: Participate in various projects, including the set-up of new equipment and the opening of a new site.Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Health and Safety management.Qualifications: NEBOSH certification is essential.Specialised Knowledge: Experience with radiation or radioactivity, including understanding radiation protection and regulations is essential!Regulations: Familiarity with IRR17 standards, ADR for carrying dangerous goods, and environmental permitting regulations.Nice to Have: Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge.Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to create and implement standardised processes.Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and managing safety documentation.If you are a proactive and experienced Health and Safety professional looking to make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you!How to Apply:Please send your CV today to apply to this position!Key Words:HandS, health and safety, EHS, HSE, manager, management, supervisor, strategy, UK, global, multisite, multi-site, director, group, medical, pharmaceutical, medicine, production, manufacturing, facility, GMP, ..... full job details .....
