Global Head of Media Relations

The Global Head of Media Relations will oversee the development and execution of media strategies to enhance the public profile of the organisation within this global organisation. This role is for a 12 month contract and will be based in Berkshire across a hybrid working structure. You will manage the global press office, provide strategic media counsel, oversee major announcements, and lead responses to reputational and crisis situations.

The successful Head of Global Media Relations will...

• Develop and implement global media relations strategies to support the organisation''s objectives.
• Act as the main point of contact for media inquiries and manage crisis communications effectively.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists.
• Oversee the creation of press releases, statements, and other public communications materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align media strategies with business goals.
• Provide expert advice and training to senior leadership on media engagement.
• Monitor media coverage and produce insights to inform future strategies.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in all external communications.

Profile

A successful Global Head of Media Relations should have:
