Global Head of Data London or Birmingham | Hybrid Working We have been exclusively retained to appoint a Global Head of Data for a global, PE-backed enterprise organisation undergoing a significant data-led transformation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling enterprise data functions from the ground up, creating the strategy, operating model, governance framework, platforms, and teams required to enable data as a strategic business asset. Key Requirements Proven experience building and scaling enterprise data functions within complex, global organisations. A track record of defining and executing global data strategies aligned to business objectives and long-term digital ambitions. Experience creating data operating models, governance frameworks, and clear ownership structures across regions and business functions. Demonstrable success establishing high-performing data teams, including data engineering, analytics, governance, and platform capabilities. Experience developing reusable data assets, analytics products, and insight capabilities that deliver measurable business and commercial value. Strong understanding of modern data ecosystems, including cloud data platforms, integration patterns, data architecture, governance, and AI-ready data foundations. Experience enabling AI and automation initiatives through trusted, scalable, and well-governed data capabilities.
