Global Expert Activation Marketing Manager

About The RoleThe Global Expert Marketing Manager Activation role, within the Expert Marketing team, is part of the Oral Health category. Expert is a key lever within the RGM model, with the wider team defining a clear strategy, including content direction and creation. You will be responsible for driving execution and strong activation of the Expert model and OH brands working closer with Expert BU leads. You will work with Expert teams within the BUs as well as working with the OH Expert Marketing team, and cross functional teams such as Expert Channels, Expert CBIA and Global Category Activation leads to align Brand and Expert strategy.
You will drive business performance against the defined strategic prioritisation/Brand, ensuring success for Oral Health brands (Sensodyne, Polident, Parodontax, Pronamel), delivering winning expert marketing activation strategies, success guides and sharing best practice for activation and amplification by Business units/local market teams.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with BUs to support implementation of the Oral Health Expert model – align market strategy to Oral health guidance documents for the category and per brand. Support markets in delivery of the OH model as the main point of contact.
Monitor and track brand activation and performance across the total channel model for our top 10 Oral Health markets. Deliver quarterly performance updates to key OH stakeholders (OH lead and GBLs) identifying themes such as competitive threat, areas of significant growth etc and unlock support for BUs.
Cross functional working with CBIA and regular review of IPSOS results to couple market performance and activation and determine areas of risk / areas of best practice for share and reapply.
Lead the facilitation and development of the Oral Health spotlight agenda ensuring all topics are relevant and have a clear call to action for market attendees
Attend and participate in OH category market visits, working with the BU team in advance to ensure their successes are highlighted and celebrated and realistic performance and activation is discussed.
Cross functional working with brand activation leads to ensure Expert remains a focus, support at marketing director and GM connects to promote the value of Expert to OH growth
Single point of contact for Expert channels team and Expert capability – regular connects to understand progress across the channel model and Expert capability, support markets in awareness / application of relevant channel features and capability support to drive performance.
Regularly sign post markets to best practice and facilitate connection between BUs to help drive capability in OH Expert.
Identify and action ‘surgical interventions’ addressing business critical issues that take priority over business as usual work with a sense of urgency
Lead above brand activation pilots for OH e.g. digital only activation pilot for DAC
Build strong relationships with BUs and cross-functional teams to maximise expert activation.
Lead on content activation strategy with non design markets for each brand ensuring they are clear on available toolkits and are activating sufficiently
Consult on ABP / LRP planning process for Oral Health, supporting markets activation of brand growth plans
Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrated ability to drive general brand and activation stewardship, with ability to lead complex projects and influence within matrixed organisation and across functions
Track record of contributions to strategic planning process at category and/or brand level, driving brand growth/key metrics focus
Experienced in developing data driven insights to leverage and drive best practice across the omni channel model, notably in field force and digital
Deep understanding of Expert omni-channel model and data insights
Outstanding influencing, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Can develop strong working relationships with Regional / BU teams, notably Expert to drive the OH Expert performance
Experience working in Expert field force and/or multi/omni channel model in LOC
Experience working in BU demonstrating multi-market influencing and prioritisation, driving the model and generating best practice
Significant experience in marketing and/or HCP related roles
Experience in building capabilities that enable others to deliver independently
Evidence of moving at high speed, working in an agile way
