Global Equity Analyst - Generalist

Overview

A highly successful global asset management firm is looking to hire an equity analyst to join their top performing long-only global equity team.Note:

This role involves assisting Portfolio Managers with analysis of stocks and providing investment ideas for the global equity fund.Responsibilities

Make investment recommendations through detailed company research, financial modelling and meeting with company management.Constantly monitor existing holdings; examining periodic results releases, meeting companies, attending site visits.Develop own financial models, at the same time having a strong practical and conceptual understanding of valuation frameworks.Assist the lead Portfolio Manager in the day-to-day running of portfolios.Experience and Qualifications

At least 3-5 years'' equity research experience at a buy-side or sell-side institution.Solid understanding of business model drivers and tail risks.CFA Charterholder or currently working towards CFA qualification.Ability to work in a collegiate team environment and have a sense of humility.Able to continually learn, improve and manage own investment mistakes and frustrations.Passion for ..... full job details .....
