Bank of America Global Capital Markets (GCM) comprises Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Leveraged Finance (LevFin). We assist clients in accessing and navigating the financial markets, providing tailored capital markets solutions for a broad range of objectives. Our clients include investment grade and sub-investment grade corporates, financial institutions, private equity firms and sovereign/supranational/sovereign-SSA issuers. This London-based internship will be within DCM, whose products include bonds, loans, capital products, liability management and FX and rates solutions.Programme overview

The Off-Cycle Analyst programme provides a broad view of what it is like to work as a full-time Capital Markets analyst. If successful, you will be assigned to the DCM team. Analysts in DCM work with Global Capital Markets partners, Corporate and Investment Bankers, to advise clients on financing options for acquisitions, general financing or balance sheet optimization.Responsibilities

Assist DCM professionals with deal origination and execution across a diverse range of product areasWork as a product specialist with clients at top management level to create and deliver financing solutions through DCM (bonds, loans, FX and rates) productsDevelop understanding of market fundamentals and contribute market-informed ideas on financing strategiesDesign tailored client presentations outlining financing solutions (including for bank clients to meet regulatory capital requirements)Work on live transactions, interacting with clients and professionals across the bankCollaborate with Investment Banking and Corporate Banking teams on client coverage and origination, and with Sustainable Banking Solutions on ESG-related topics and financing solutionsCoordinate and manage live deal executions with sales teams, traders and Global Research for market updatesEligibility and qualifications

Candidates are required to have or be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or universityGraduation date for those already graduated should be between January and September 2025For current students, completion must be before January 2026; evidence may be requestedMinimum 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalentAvailable to join the programme from Monday 19 January for six months; if offered a full-time role, be available to join the graduate programme from July 2026What we are looking for
