The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team within finishing and glazing operations, ensuring quality and attention to detail. Operate effectively within both glazing and finishing functions to meet workload demands, ensuring all joinery products are accurately detailed, finished to specification, and fully glazed before progressing to dispatch. Key Responsibilities (Finishing Tasks) End graining of all joinery before and after priming De-nibbing between finishing stages Masking of joinery items when required Hooking and un-hooking of joinery Caulking of beaded items and panel joints Fine filling of joints, fixings, and defects Preparing joinery for progression through to spray Key Responsibilities (Glazing Tasks) Measure, cut, and install glass into traditional timber sash windows Fit heritage double glazed units while maintaining original profiles Glaze using traditional linseed oil putty, 3C and Beading.
