Job Title: Glass Operator
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00 & Friday 07:00-12:30
Location: Livingston
Main Responsibilities:
- Running waterjet cutting machinery to produce accurate cuts while reducing material waste.
- Safely moving and positioning large glass panels using overhead cranes and vacuum lifting equipment.
- Finishing and shaping glass edges to meet required dimensions and quality standards.
- Checking glass products during processing for damage, imperfections, or faults.
- Performing regular cleaning and basic upkeep of machinery and work areas.
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- A safety-first mindset when handling delicate or breakable materials.
- Strong eye for detail with a focus on maintaining high quality standards.
- Ability to follow processes accurately and collaborate effectively within a team.
