GFM Driver (Forging)

GFM Driver An excellent opportunity has arisen for a GFM Driver to join a busy manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in forging, engineering, heavy manufacturing, steel, aerospace, or industrial production environments who are looking to develop their career within a safety-focused and quality-driven business. The Role Working as part of a multi-skilled GFM team, you will be responsible for the forging and processing of materials to strict technical specifications while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity. Key Responsibilities Operating GFM forging equipment in line with technically controlled programmes. Identifying and recording materials to maintain full quality traceability. Accurately measuring materials and recording production data. Entering information onto the internal compute and technical process computer systems. Operating abrasive saws to cut materials to specification. Using overhead cranes to move materials safely throughout the facility. Supporting additional GFM operations including slinging activities and loading/unloading furnaces. Carrying out pre-start equipment checks. Maintaining high housekeeping standards and participating in 5S improvement activities. Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
