We support all three of DSITs objectives.The Executive Assistant role is key to delivering quality services to the Director, their Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the directorate by managing a wide range of administrative services and business support. You’ll collaborate with colleagues at all levels, build strong working relationships, and ensure accuracy and efficiency. You’ll work with guidance from the Head of Office within a larger Business Support team across the Directorate.Main duties
Provide executive support to the Director and Senior Leadership Team.Provide diary management to the Director.Engage with senior members of the directorate, coordinate directorate-wide planning, reporting and compliance requirements, clarify issues, and identify solutions.Support staff engagement, communication and governance by arranging Senior Leadership Team and directorate meetings.Support continuous improvement and good project and change management within the team and directorate.Additional accountabilities include but are not limited to diary management, travel bookings, expenses processing, briefing coordination, and maintaining directorate documents and governance processes.Coordinate briefing materials and ensure communications with policy leads provide the correct materials.Support the Directorate with governance and compliance activities including administration of risk registers, mandatory training and health and safety requirements.Build and maintain relationships across the Directorate and wider organisation and secretariat.Support Directorate projects through coordinating activities and resource planning.Identify and deliver improvement initiatives and promote good project and change management practices.Essential Skills
A strong ability to plan and organise, manage competing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication with diverse stakeholders, confidentiality, excellent attention to detail, IT proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Outlook), and the ability to work independently while also being a team player.How to Apply
