Location: Brentwood, Essex

Salary: £28,500 – £35,800 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

About the Role

SMT Recruitment are currently recruiting for a German-Speaking Parts Sales Advisor to join a successful and growing business based in Brentwood, Essex. The company specialises in selling car parts to customers across a range of markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional, particularly someone with a background in the automotive or motor industry, who is looking to develop their career within a busy, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Handle customer enquiries by phone, email and face-to-face.
• Make outbound calls and generate new business through proactive sales activity.
• Process orders, reservations, estimates, invoices and payments.
• Provide excellent after-sales support and resolve customer queries.
• Assist with stock and parts availability checks.
• Liaise with internal teams and customers to ensure a smooth service.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and promote relevant products.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and commercial targets.

About You

We are looking for someone who is fluent in German, with a strong sales and customer service focus.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience within the motor/automotive industry and sales, OR strong previous sales experience with a genuine interest in developing within the automotive sector.
• Confident telephone and communication skills.
• Experience making outbound sales calls and building customer relationships.
• A professional, friendly and proactive approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A commercially minded and entrepreneurial attitude.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• Willingness to attend occasional events or business trips when required.
