PSR Rail Team are recruiting for a Permanent Geo-technical Engineer in Peterborough, but will predominantly be working from home 4 days per week. Please see more info below A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing team based in Peterborough. This role offers exposure to a wide range of ground engineering and construction projects, with involvement across both design and on-site delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out site investigations, including soil analysis and ground condition assessmentsAnalyse and interpret geotechnical data, producing clear and accurate technical reportsDevelop recommendations for foundations, earthworks, and ground improvement solutionsProvide geotechnical support throughout both design and construction phasesCollaborate with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure technical requirements are achievedOversee site activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and health and safety standardsIdentify and manage ground risks, resolving geotechnical challenges on siteContribute to value engineering initiatives and cost-effective design approachesRequirementsDegree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related disciplineProven experience in a geotechnical or ground engineering role (contractor or consultancy)Solid understanding of site investigation methods and reportingKnowledge of UK standards and geotechnical design principlesAbility to interpret borehole ..... full job details .....
