Geotechnical EngineerLocation: ExeterSalary: £32,000 - £42,000 + BenefitsA well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing Exeter office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of infrastructure, commercial, residential and energy projects across the South West while developing both technical and project management skills.The successful candidate will become part of an experienced geotechnical team, supporting the delivery of ground investigation projects and geotechnical design work from initial site assessment through to project completion.Key Responsibilities:Planning, supervising and managing ground investigationsLogging soil and rock samples in accordance with current standardsUndertaking geotechnical assessments and interpretative reportingProducing geotechnical design solutions including foundations, retaining structures and earthworksReviewing laboratory testing results and providing engineering recommendationsLiaising with clients, contractors and regulatory bodiesManaging project budgets, programmes and health and safety requirementsSupporting junior engineers and contributing to technical development within the teamRequirements:Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline2+ years'' experience within a geotechnical or ground investigation consultancyStrong understanding of ground investigation techniques and geotechnical ..... full job details .....
