Geotechnical Design EngineerLocation: BristolSalary: £35,000 - £40,000An award-winning engineering consultancy is seeking a Geotechnical Design Engineer to join its expanding Bristol office. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys the analytical and design aspects of geotechnics and is looking to work on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, residential, commercial and renewable energy projects across the UK.You will join a highly experienced geotechnical team and play a key role in delivering innovative and cost-effective design solutions from feasibility through to construction.Key Responsibilities:Undertaking geotechnical analysis and design for a range of development and infrastructure projectsDesigning shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, slopes and earthworksCarrying out geotechnical calculations and numerical modellingInterpreting ground investigation data and laboratory test resultsPreparing Geotechnical Design Reports and Ground Investigation Interpretative ReportsProviding technical input throughout project lifecycles from concept to detailed designLiaising with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teamsAssisting with project management, programme delivery and commercial performanceMentoring junior engineers and graduates where appropriateRequirements:Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related discipline3+ years of experience within a geotechnical consultancy environmentStrong ..... full job details .....
