The Role

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, taking responsibility for technical assessments and geotechnical design work. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver practical, cost-effective engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Geotechnical interpretation of ground investigation data
• Foundation design and recommendations
• Slope stability and earthworks assessments
• Retaining wall design and analysis
• Geotechnical reporting and technical documentation
• Preparation of design calculations and specifications
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams
• Supporting junior engineers and contributing to project delivery

Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience within a geotechnical consultancy or engineering environment
• Strong understanding of geotechnical design principles
• Experience using geotechnical software packages
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
