You''ll work across a range of infrastructure, development and environmental projects, collaborating with engineers and specialists across the wider business.The role will involve a mix of geotechnical design, ground investigation and site-based work, with the opportunity to develop your technical experience across a varied project portfolio.The RoleGeotechnical design for foundations, retaining structures and earthworksGround investigation planning, supervision and interpretationGeotechnical reporting and assessment of ground conditionsSlope stability and settlement analysisEarthworks and remediation assessmentsSite inspections and ground investigation supervisionPreparation of technical specifications and calculationsLiaising with civil, structural, environmental and other engineering disciplinesSupporting the delivery of projects from feasibility through to detailed designRequirementsDegree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related subjectPrevious experience within a geotechnical consultancy or similar environmentGood understanding of UK ground conditions and relevant standardsExperience undertaking geotechnical analysis and designStrong technical report writing and communication skillsExperience with software such as PLAXIS, GEO5, WALLAP or similar would be ..... full job details .....
