Job: Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Manchester

First People Solutions is working with a multidisciplinary consulting engineer that is looking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer to join its growing team in Manchester.

Working across a diverse range of infrastructure and building projects, you''ll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from ground investigations and concept design through to construction support.

They deliver innovative engineering and design solutions across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, transportation, energy and building projects, offering engineers the opportunity to work on technically challenging developments from concept through to construction.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience working within a design engineering environment
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or equivalent
• Experience in geotechnical design; including foundations, retaining structures and earthworks
• Knowledge of Eurocode 7, British Standards and CDM regulations
• Site experience
• A full UK driving licence
• Able to obtain UK Security Clearance
