      <description>Location: Buckinghamshire | Salary: &amp;pound;400 - &amp;pound;440/day | Type: Contract | Are you a Geotechnical Engineer with extensive experience working on large scale infrastructure based projects?     Geotechnical &amp; Earthworks Engineer  Location: Buckinghamshire (hybrid 2 days wfh)  Rate: £400-£440 per day | Inside IR35  Duration: Ongoing     This is a great opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical / Earthworks Engineer to support the delivery on one of the largest ongoing infrastructure projects, where you will provide Geotechnical support on HS2.     This is a site-focused construction support role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, interpreting live ground conditions and working closely with construction and design teams on a major UK infrastructure project.     Key Responsibilities:     ·Respond to TQs, RFIs and EWNs relating to geotechnical and earthworks issues.  ·Review and interpret site observations, ground conditions, testing and monitoring data.  ·Update interpreted ground models based on construction-stage findings.  ·Coordinate updates to the Geotechnical Risk Register.  ·Support the use of the Observational Method where required.  ·Review geotechnical and earthworks Temporary Works where they interface with permanent works.  ...</description>
