Intermediate Geotechnical EngineerLocation: South Manchester Hybrid Working Type: Permanent, Full TimeI''m working with a growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy who are looking to add an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to their expanding Geo team in South Manchester.The business works across a varied range of sectors including commercial, industrial, residential, healthcare and infrastructure, with the Geo team working closely alongside their Civil and Structural Engineering teams. The role offers a good mix of office-based work, UK-wide site visits and some flexibility to work from home.The RoleYou''ll be involved across a range of geotechnical projects, with responsibilities including:Reviewing existing ground investigation and geotechnical informationDesigning and specifying site investigationsProducing geotechnical interpretative reports and specificationsProviding technical advice to project teamsSupervising large-scale earthworks projectsCarrying out assessments relating to foundations, earthworks, slope stability and settlementWorking on ground improvement, mineral workings and natural cavity-related projectsThere is also the opportunity to gain exposure to geo-environmental work, including ground risk assessments, laboratory testing strategies and remediation recommendations.About YouWe''re looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a solid grounding in geotechnical principles and consultancy experience.Ideally, you''ll have experience ..... full job details .....
