Geotechnical Consultant

We are looking for a geotechnical consultant for a contractor who delivering innovative infrastructure solutions across the UK. The Projects are large-scale civil works on rail. The Role: We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Consultant/Engineer to join our London team on a permanent basis. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide geotechnical expertise across a variety of civil engineering projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct geotechnical assessments, site investigations, and risk analyses. Provide design recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, slopes, and earthworks. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design calculations. Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Support project teams from concept through to delivery. Requirements: Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. Chartered status (CEng/MICE/ICE). Strong experience in geotechnical consultancy or engineering roles. Proficient in geotechnical software and design standards. Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
