Geospatial Processor - Temporary with the potential for permanent opportunities 25,396 Knaresborough, 28 days leave, 8.00am-16.30pm Monday - Friday, training, parking, hybrid working options. Due to increased business and workload our client is looking to recruit a geospatial processor. This is initially a temporary position for 6 months with the potential to go permanent. We currently have two positions available, one in the remote sensing team and one in the classification team. This geospatial processor role is an entry level position that will offer you full training and development with the potential to progress onto the next tier with 18 months. If you have a keen interest in geography, environmental, sustainability, engineering or mapping then this could be the starting block for your career. Duties will include Mapping, Classification, Spatial Modelling and Asset Record workflows. Responsibilities to include:Process large sets of raw data that has been captured by the field based teamProduce geospatial datasetsTransform datasets according to project requirementsGenerate and compile metadata using existing templatesReclassify data into a usable formatImport data into PLS-CAD ready for modellingProcess and present images according to clients specificationsProduce topographic maps from LiDARCarry out quality checks on all data produced This geospatial processor role is ideally suited to someone with a background or qualification in geography, geology, environmental ..... full job details .....
