GeophysicistLondon 35,000 - 45,000A specialist site investigation consultancy is looking to add a Geophysicist to its London team.This is a great opportunity for a geophysicist with 3-5 years'' experience who is looking for a varied role combining site work, data processing, interpretation and reporting.You''ll be working on a range of ground investigation projects across London and the wider UK, alongside experienced geophysicists, geologists and engineers.The RoleThe role will involve a mixture of office and site-based work, with the opportunity to take ownership of projects and develop your experience across a range of geophysical techniques.Your responsibilities will include:Planning and carrying out geophysical surveysSetting up and operating geophysical equipmentCollecting and quality checking field dataProcessing and interpreting geophysical dataProducing technical reports, figures and drawingsProviding geophysical input into wider ground investigationsLiaising with clients, contractors and other consultantsSupporting project planning and preparationWorking alongside geotechnical and geoenvironmental teamsTravelling to sites across London and occasionally elsewhere in the UKThe projects are varied and will give you exposure to different ground conditions and challenging urban environments, with plenty of opportunity to broaden your technical experience.About YouWe''re looking for someone with a degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences or a related subject, with ..... full job details .....
