An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in High Wycombe is seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join its dynamic and successful Humanities department from September 2025.

About the Role:


  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum
  • Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a global outlook
  • Employ a variety of assessment strategies to track student progress and respond to individual learning needs
  • Develop strong, supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance both academic progress and pastoral care
  • Contribute to fieldwork activities, enrichment programmes, and cross-curricular initiatives to broaden and deepen the learning experience



The ideal candidate will:


  • Experience teaching Geography at secondary level is preferred, though not essential
  • Demonstrates adaptability, a reflective approach to teaching, and strong classroom management skills
  • Committed to inclusive education, safeguarding practices, and the overall wellbeing of students
  • Brings excellent communication, organisation, and collaborative working skills
  • Shows a genuine passion for ongoing learning and professional development
