Supply Desk are pleased to be working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Medway, Kent, in search of an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher. This is a full-time, long-term supply role starting in September 2025 and running through to the end of the academic year in July 2026. About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Geography Teacher to join the schoolandrsquo;s vibrant Humanities department. You will be responsible for delivering engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential), while taking on full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, assessment, and participation in departmental activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, well-structured Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Plan engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues to develop resources and share best practices
• Get involved in wider school life and contribute positively to the school community

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Geography or a closely related subject
• Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience beneficial)
• A confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills
• A passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students of all abilities
• A commitment to working as part of a team and contributing to departmental goals
• An enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
