Geography Teacher (Long-Term Supply)Job Type: Temporary (May 2026 - February 2027)Location: NelsonSalary: Competitive - Paid to ScaleWe are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher for a long-term supply role, commencing on 4th May 2026 and concluding in February 2027. This role involves planning and teaching Geography lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a strong emphasis on classroom management and student engagement.Day-to-day of the role:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons that meet curriculum standards for KS3 and KS4.Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and maximise student engagement.Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a conducive learning environment.Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.Participate in departmental meetings and school training sessions.Required Skills and Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Proven experience in teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 levels.Strong classroom management skills.Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.Benefits:Competitive salary.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional development.To apply for this Geography Teacher ..... full job details .....
