The school follows the AQA Geography specification, so previous experience teaching AQA at GCSE level would be particularly beneficial.This position will initially run until at least January 2027, with the possibility of extending beyond this date.The RoleAs the Geography Teacher, you will:Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4Take responsibility for two Year 11 GCSE Geography classesDeliver lessons in line with the AQA GCSE Geography specificationPlan and deliver engaging and appropriately challenging lessonsAssess, mark and monitor pupil progressSupport Year 11 pupils with GCSE preparation and revisionMaintain high expectations for behaviour and achievementWork collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities departmentContribute positively to the wider life of the schoolThe Ideal CandidateThe school is looking for a Geography Teacher who:Holds QTS or has relevant secondary teaching experienceHas experience teaching Geography at ..... full job details .....
