Your new companyYour new school is a large secondary school located in Nelson. The school is coeducational and caters for pupils aged 11-16. In addition to the above, the school offers state of the art facilities and has excellent transport links.Your new roleJoining a high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching Geography to KS4. The role is to commence from the 4th May 2026 and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis covering a maternity absence until February 2027. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.What you''ll need to succeedTo be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching Geography to KS4.
