The role involves teaching a broad and balanced geography curriculum, enabling students to explore physical and human processes while developing analytical and critical thinking skills. The postholder will create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to be curious about global issues and their place within them. The role also includes contributing to the wider life of the school and supporting students to achieve their full potential.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver high-quality geography lessons in line with curriculum requirements.Create an engaging classroom environment that supports learning and encourages curiosity.Teach a range of geographical topics, including physical and human geography.Assess, monitor and report on student progress, using data to inform teaching.Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with organisational policies.Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources.Organise and support fieldwork opportunities where appropriate.Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.Participate in ..... full job details .....
