Quantum Scholars are currently working with a fantastic secondary school in Bedfordshire who are seeking a qualified and experienced Geography Teacher to join them immediately. This is a long-term position running until the end of the academic year. The school is a co-educational secondary with a sixth form, recognised for its commitment to academic excellence, personal development and strong pastoral care. They deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum across KS3, GCSE and A-Level, offering a broad and balanced range of subjects. The school has been rated "Good" by Ofsted. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Geography lessons across KS3, KS4 and potentially KS5. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong progress and attainment. Teach a broad Geography curriculum, including physical geography, human geography and geographical skills (e.g. map reading, data analysis and fieldwork). Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including high-achieving students and those with SEND. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour for learning. Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies. Provide timely, constructive feedback to support pupil development and exam readiness. Contribute to curriculum planning and the ongoing development of the Geography department.
