Geoenvironmental Engineer Location: LeedsSalary: 30,000 - 40,000We''re looking for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a growing team in Leeds, working on a range of projects across the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors.This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of industry experience who wants to build on their site-based knowledge while taking on more responsibility for investigations, reporting and project delivery.The roleYou''ll be involved in a mix of site work and office-based duties, supporting projects from initial investigation through to assessment and remediation. The work will include:Planning and carrying out Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 site investigations.Supervising ground investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling.Assessing ground contamination risks and interpreting laboratory results.Preparing factual and interpretative reports, including preliminary risk assessments and generic quantitative risk assessments.Supporting remediation strategies and validation works.Liaising with clients, contractors, laboratories and other members of the project team.Ensuring site works are completed safely and in line with relevant guidance and procedures.What we''re looking forA degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related subject.Around 2-5 years'' experience in geoenvironmental consultancy or a similar role.Experience with Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations and contaminated land assessment.Good ..... full job details .....
