Geoenvironmental Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: 30,000 - 38,000 (depending on experience)An established and growing environmental and geotechnical consultancy is looking to appoint a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a couple of years of consultancy experience who is looking to develop their technical skills and work on a range of challenging ground investigation and contaminated land projects.The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of projects across the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors, working closely with experienced engineers and senior consultants.Responsibilities:Assisting with and managing ground investigation projectsSoil and groundwater sampling and loggingPreparation of Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Ground Investigation ReportsContaminated land risk assessmentsSupporting the preparation of remediation strategies and verification reportsLiaising with contractors, clients and regulatory bodiesData interpretation and report writingRequirements:A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering or a related disciplineAround 2+ years of experience within a geoenvironmental or contaminated land consultancyExperience with Phase 1 and Phase 2 reportingStrong communication and report writing skillsA full UK driving licenceBenefits:Competitive salaryOngoing training and professional developmentSupport towards professional ..... full job details .....
