Geoenvironmental ConsultantLocation: SouthamptonSalary: 30,000 - 35,000Type: PermanentWe are currently working with Ridge, who are looking to add a Geoenvironmental Consultant to their Southampton team.This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in geoenvironmental and contaminated land work who is looking to develop their career within a busy multidisciplinary consultancy.The role will include a mixture of site and office-based work, with involvement across a range of ground investigation and contaminated land projects.The role will involve:Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental assessmentsGround investigations and site workSoil and groundwater samplingGround gas monitoringContaminated land assessmentsRemediation and validationProducing factual and interpretive reportsLiaising with clients, contractors and other consultantsThe ideal candidate will have:A degree in Geology, Environmental Science or a related subjectPrevious experience in a geoenvironmental or contaminated land roleExperience carrying out site investigations and producing reportsA good understanding of contaminated landA full UK driving licenceRidge offers a varied project portfolio and the opportunity to work alongside teams across geotechnical, environmental and other engineering disciplines.If you''re a Geoenvironmental Consultant based in Southampton or the surrounding area and are open to hearing about a new opportunity, please get in touch. ..... full job details .....
