This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Geo-Environmental Engineer to work on a wide range of contaminated land, brownfield redevelopment and ground investigation projects across the North East and wider UK.The successful Geo-Environmental Engineer will be involved in all stages of project delivery, from site investigations through to reporting and remediation support. You will work alongside experienced environmental scientists, engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers, gaining exposure to technically challenging projects across the residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors.The RolePlanning, supervising and managing Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigationsLogging soils and rock in accordance with current standardsSoil, groundwater and ground gas sampling and monitoringScheduling laboratory testing and interpreting analytical dataPreparing factual and interpretative geo-environmental reportsCompleting Preliminary Risk Assessments (Phase 1 Desk Studies)Undertaking Generic and Detailed Quantitative Risk AssessmentsSupporting remediation strategy design and validation worksLiaising with clients, contractors and regulatory authoritiesEnsuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulationsRequirementsDegree in Geology, Environmental Science, ..... full job details .....
