This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy and growing team, supporting a wide range of customers across the South and East of England.The RoleAs a Generator Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators and associated equipment. You will work on planned maintenance, attend breakdowns, and support new installations, ensuring clients receive the highest standards of service.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintain, and repair diesel generator sets and associated equipmentCarry out fault-finding, diagnosis, and load bank testingSupport the installation and commissioning of diesel generatorsAttend customer breakdowns and provide emergency cover on a rota basisWork both in the field (75%) and in the workshop (25%) as requiredUse diagnostic software and tools to ensure high-quality service deliveryMaintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with standardsCandidate RequirementsProven experience with the installation, servicing, and maintenance of diesel generatorsStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsKnowledge of common generator control systems (advantageous)Computer literate with clear written and verbal communication ..... full job details .....
