Generator Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Generator Engineer to work for a large national company.

They work with a range of industries from construction through to festivals and schools. Basically anyone needing temporary power needs. The client is looking for an experienced, hard-working engineer who is multi skilled and has experience with generators or engines.

Company – Leading Supplier of Power Generators
Job Title – Field Service Engineer
Location – Field Based (depot based in Birtley)
Salary Package – £35k (£17.25 per hour) + company van + excellent overtime rates (overall earnings £45-50K)

Main Duties:

• Servicing and maintaining generators
• Report directly to the Depot Manager
• Fault finding.
• Mechanical and Electrical repairs
• Depot / onsite duties
• Liaising directly with customers
• Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines

Requirements:

• A qualification within plant engineering / mechanical engineering
• Experience of generator engineering
• Field service experience
• Full UK driver’s licence
