Generator Controls and Commissioning Engineer We are seeking an experienced Generator Controls and Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in generator control systems, electrical panels, commissioning, and fault finding to work on a variety of projects across the UK and internationally. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of generator systems and associated control equipment. This position offers a varied workload, regular overseas travel, and the opportunity to work on complex and technically challenging power generation projects. Key Responsibilities • Commission, test, and fault-find generator control systems and associated electrical panels. • Carry out generator servicing, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. • Diagnose and resolve electrical and control-related issues on both new and existing installations. • Configure and commission industry-standard generator controllers and monitoring systems. • Conduct site acceptance testing (SAT) and factory acceptance testing (FAT) where required. • Produce commissioning reports, service documentation, and technical records. • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams. • Travel throughout the UK and overseas to support customer sites and project requirements. • Participate in planned weekend work and out-of-hours support when required. • Ensure all ..... full job details .....
