Date posted: 25 February 2026Pay: £13.26 per hourJob Description: Baler OperativeSalary: £13.26 per hourLocation: LS9Job Type: Full-time, PermanentShift Pattern: Monday to Friday (3 Week rotating) 06 0014 0022 00 About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Baler Operative to join our warehouse team.If you are proactive, safety-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities Ensure production areas have sufficient bins available at all timesEmpty bins from production areas promptly and efficientlyCompact scrap materials and produce bales using the baling equipmentClearly label and segregate bales according to the appropriate recycling companyComplete the weekly cleaning schedule as directed by the Warehouse ManagerMaintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse Health and Safety Responsibilities Follow all company Health and Safety proceduresUse PPE correctly at all timesReport hazards and complete near-miss reports where requiredEnsure fire exits and walkways are kept clear at all timesFollow all warehouse safety rules What We re Looking For Good attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong awareness of health and safetyReliable and punctualPrevious warehouse or recycling experience (desirable but not essential) What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of £13.26Full-time, stable Monday Friday workStructured shift patternSupportive team ..... full job details .....
