General Works Operator (Including Despatch Duties)Location: SheffieldStafforce Recruitment is recruiting a hands-on General Works Operator to support workshop, stock, and despatch operations within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a varied role ideal for someone practical, reliable, and safety-focused.Pay and Benefits 12.71 - 13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)Weekly pay39 hours per week (early finish Friday) Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30Friday: 08:00 - 15:3023 days holiday + bank holidaysPension scheme + health cash plan (after probation)Key DutiesOperate workshop machinery (cutting, drilling, bending, punching, tapping)Measure and process materials to required specificationsAssist with fabrication, assembly, and laser processing supportHandle goods-in, stock movement, and material controlPack, label, and prepare orders for despatchComplete job and despatch documentation accuratelyCandidate RequirementsPrevious manufacturing or workshop experienceGood practical skills and attention to detailReliable, organised, and safety-consciousFLT/crane experience desirable (not essential) About UsWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
