General Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Leicester. This is a full-time, ongoing position, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a committed school community and make a positive impact on pupils'' learning and development.The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range, helping to deliver engaging lessons and ensuring all children are able to reach their full potential. You will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, providing both classroom support and individual assistance where required.As a General Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of learning abilities, assisting with classroom activities, preparing learning resources, and encouraging pupils to remain engaged and motivated throughout the school day. You may also provide one-to-one or small group interventions to help children develop their literacy, numeracy, and social skills.The role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, and confident in supporting pupils with varying needs.
