Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment is partnering with a leading UK retailer to recruit a General Store Manager for a high-volume store in the Home Counties.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

You''ll take full accountability for the store, leading a significant team and management structure while driving sales, customer experience, operational standards and people performance.

Key responsibilities include:

* Driving sales, profitability, productivity and commercial KPIs
* Leading a high-volume operation while maintaining strong customer and brand standards
* Creating an excellent customer experience
* Leading, coaching and developing a large team and management structure
* Building a strong talent pipeline and succession plan
* Managing P&L, payroll and operational costs
* Driving stock, visual and operational standards
* Using trading data and customer insight to identify opportunities and take action
* Leading effectively through peak trading, change and competing priorities
* Partnering with senior leadership on wider business initiatives

About You

We''re looking for an experienced General Store Manager, Store Manager or Senior Retail Leader with a strong background in fashion, supermarket, big-box or another high-volume, customer-led retail environment.

You''ll bring:

* Strong experience within a high-volume retail environment
* Experience leading large teams and management structures
* A strong commercial track record across sales, profitability and productivity
* Experience managing significant P&L, payroll and operational costs
* Excellent people leadership and a passion for developing talent
* Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn data into action
