Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join the healthcare team at HMP YOI Werrington. HMP YOI Werrington is a male juveniles prison supporting 118 patients, located in Werrington, Staffordshire. You will deliver GP clinics focused on acute needs and minor injuries and be involved in training and education for nursing staff.Hours
3 hours per day Monday, Wednesday, Friday. The site can offer flexibility with start and end times of sessions.Salary
This is a part-time role. Youll receive an annual salary between £115,000 and £125,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.How will we support you?

MBChB or MBBSInclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers ListEvidence of engagement with annual appraisalExperience working as a General Practitioner in community general practiceEvidence of continuing professional developmentAbility to work with patients with a history of substance misuseRCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualificationsExperience
